Are we absolutely positive that LSOC isn't BSAC?

yes, but they have many similarities.

For those of us who weren't there, can you guys give us more info on items auctioned, money raised, and funny 'pak stories a la roast beef guy?

On the auction front, I believe the eventual trivia champs took home _FAN & y-l_a's "active lifestyle" package for $10, steve dave got the Can Confirm original artwork for $20, one or both Lynchs (?) got BEFR's 3D printer pieces for $20, _FAN (?) getting the case of KatPAK Lager for $50, Winters getting the signed original pak head for $50, ? getting a Jordy Nelson signed football for $100 and Gooch getting the fanning stuff for $100.

Fatty's sister, EMAWgeddon and JMart were in a high-stakes bidding war for the Trim package all day.  JMart eventually got in the highest bid at the deadline with $250, but in a wonderful turn of events, send me this message right before it was awarded:

Quote
Please let Fatty's sister have the shirt set. I'll still donate the money, though.

I probably should've thought about the possibility of that thing having to travel before putting it in a giant glass case, but when I left, the family was on their way to FedEx to arrange shipment back to TX.  Pretty amazing move by JMart.

yeah.  when we saw there was a belt involved, it was an easy decision to proclaim Bear as the MVP.

Case of BEFR beer was split into 6 packs by Jakesie, UW, _Fan, and myself.

I think one of my favorite parts of the pub crawl was going to Eighteen63 at 1:50 AM with Trim, waks, and Kat Kid.  Slammed a Rumpleminz shot and a whiskey coke by the 2 AM deadline.  At 2 am they start serving breakfast, so we had a delicious meal (All you can eat B&G!!!).  Trivia champs PurpleBear4 and EMAWMeister showed up and ate at an adjacent table.  Kat Kid was incredulous that a bar was turning into a breakfast restaurant after last call. Trim was gracious (drunk?) enough to buy our meal for the tax write off, (and incessantly hit on the waitress :fatty:).  A good time was had by all.
:adios:

Yes, I'm in love with Eighteen63, and to lesser extent, the graveyard shift waitress.

Well, YLA would certainly be at the top of the reincarnation list, but this special distinction belongs to another.

Why is it that EVERY TIME we put on a fundraiser, it devolves (evolves?) into a debate about which of us will have sex with each other if reincarnated as the opposite sex?

Fellas, I've been away for a good while but did anybody fing out from the family what shawn's cause of death was? I know it's tough question  to ask but it's ben nagging at me for some time.

Next year, I'll clear space on the calender and auction off a vintage 1981 pair of Converse All Star shoes that are dotted with Willie The Wildcat logos all over. I think it's the lest I can do to help keep alive the memory of a great kid.

Sounds like you all did it up very well. If there are pics I's love to see them. The kid  was one of a kind.

It is against his family's beliefs to do an autopsy, so they do not know what the cause of death was.

And thanks for losing us Upshaw.

I prefer to think of F3 having died as he lived, fighting a group of ninjas.  But, that's my own personal belief system at work....to each his own.

Obviously.

Point is, he took out like 20+ of them before they got him.  He's a hero.
