There are a few MU fans in my office and to say they are sad today is like saying Beems circle of friends included older guys. Just a huge understatement.

They are really down that they left the conference that is blowing up into the hottest thing in America. It's like breaking up with a girl you really loved but thought was a bit unstable only to see her go on to be a swimsuit model heart surgeon who wins the lottery then cures heart cancer. It is horrible for them.

coupled with the facts that their QB of the future got hammered out of his mind and wrecked a car and fled and head football coach cheated on his loving wife with some gross tramp and you can see why they are lost.

I told a guy this morning that second guessing the choice to leave is a waste of time because WV and FSU weren't coming to Big 12 CE as long as MU was here so it couldn't have ever happened. That seemed to make him feel better.

Other suggestions?

Tough times for Mizzou fans no doubt. I guess you got to tell them to keep their heads up and to give them hope that they can have success in the SEC.

I had thought about giving some of my Mizzou coworkers some info on flight deals or some tablets for high MPG vehicles so they can road trip to their away games. A lot of travel and expense but if you're like K-States you can make any situation enjoyable.

Are you sure it`s depression from the drunk qb, cheating coach and seeing the big 12 kicking ass? Sounds more like a coming down from a huge mothers day meth binge and my dealer got busted depression.

I usually don't condone the use of meth, but after such a rough time for them it'd be hard not to give them the okay.

Fact: Branson is THERE almost totally because of the flatlanders from Kansas and Iowa who actually visit. I am so torn on this Mizzou and KSU thing, obviously. I like them both. Glad they are in different conferences. I just know (have always known) that I hate KU. P.S. I do dabble in moonshine; no meth though. P.P.S. Most folks in Missouri are totally excited about the SEC; I think it's the KC people who have reservations. People in STL could give a crap about the Big 12.

We paint tacky farm scenes on saws and people on vacation from Kansas actually buy them as art. Seriously. Most of my relatives in Kansas have them and a bunch of other awful stuff from Branson. The west side of Table Rock is called Wichita East. Also, Kansans are probably the biggest customers for fireworks; they come here to buy them. But we do make lots and lots of meth. Houses blowing up aren't uncommon. Anyway, I live in the Mark Twain Forest. There was a freakin bear in a tree here the other day.
