Didn't get to read the whole thing since I don't subscribe.

But the first thing you should be asking is, why are they talking to the Animal?

Oh and find an untraceable phone and keep on calling and texting Mike.

Is this our official mcmw moment for the year? Do we now go on to be ridiculously awesome because of it?

We've been predicting this for a while now. Like, just about every time something gets self reported. As long as Currie is here, we will never MCMW.

It's not Smith's fault. You know LHC old ballz taped that phone to his head and told him to use it or lose it. And when I say it, I mean his balls.

fire our compliance dept and everyone that is directly in charge of them. how and why? kstate needs to tell us how they found out and why they decided this. it seems weird when the school is violently against the staffs. no?

NCAA requires schools to pay for cell phone subscriptions, so the AD has all call records.  It's not that difficult to determine.  When coaches complete recruiting contact reports, the recruits cell phone number is one of those things that goes in the report.  It's just a matter of creating a searchable database and connecting the dots.

Currie will get brownie points and be a rising star in the NCAA's eyes if he emphasizes this level of compliance.  It also helps the NCAA see the simplicity of monitoring recruiting contacts, so they can easily whack the K-State's of the world when they need to look tough.

“Regular self-reporting of secondary and minor violations is routine procedure and a normal aspect of operating an NCAA member institution intercollegiate athletics program,” athletic director John Currie said in a statement. “Given the complexity of the NCAA rulebook, more concern would generally be shown for institutions which never report any secondary infractions rather than those that regularly do."

You sly dog. Currie throws the NCAA a bone here and there and we can cheat without getting into major trouble. I think Currie is owed an apology. He knows how the game is played.

Great, now Snyder is going to take our phones away.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

goEMAW needs to get a phone contract w/ enough phones for each fb and bb coach, then hand them out to said coaches quietly.  Coaches call as much as they want w/ no NCAA or AD oversight.  goEMAW gets records monthly to see who we are recruiting and how much effort seems to be exerted.

Then, goEMAW can write it all off.

Win/Win/Win

Having John Currie and Jamie Vaughn against us should be credited towards KSU's strength of schedule.

These things take time.  Gotta think Currie has a 5yr plan.  I mean, you gotta think it would take a full recruiting cycle to reduce us to absolute crap.
