Are there goEMAW'rs that really think Klein should win the Heisman?

I'd be fine with Teo winning but Klein deserves it imo. Manziel padded his stats against crap teams plain and simple. And the over the top ESPN love makes me want to vomit.

Please.  I get that we all hate manziel because he's racist or whatever, but come on.  He plays a good schedule and dwarfed Klein's numbers.

We all knew at the start that K-State was going to have to go undefeated for Klein to have a shot, but K-State lost, largely due to Klein's absolutely horrible performance that night.  And now we're surprised he's being marginalized in the Heisman talk?  Klein's a great college quarterback, but to win the Heisman, you've either gotta have the numbers, or be in the national championship. 

Klein did neither.

I love him, but he absolutely does not "deserve" the heisman this year.

Please explain how Manziel played a good schedule, or a schedule better/harder than Klein played.

A&M played BCS #2, BCS #3, and BCS #8.

K-State played BCS #11, and BCS #23.

It's okay to love K-State and accept that Klein doesn't deserve the Heisman this year, btw.

Yea K-State butthurt over Klein not winning awards is hilarious and embarrassing.  Compare stats.  The only thing Klein wins in is INT's (barely) and Wins.  Manziel's stats are ridiculous.

Manziel had bad games against top 10 teams, with top 10 defenses. Klein had his bad game against the 120th ranked defense. So you can make fun of Manziel for having his good games against bad teams, but Klein couldn't even do that, and had 1 TD against the best defense that we faced.

Exactly, Klein had 1 bad game thats it. Maybe thats where my butthurtness stems from. All it took was that one bad game for everyone to forget the rest of the season then the ESPN hype machine was in full effect for JM. I just hope Teo steals it from him somehow

klein didn't have a bad game, he had a horrible game against a horrible team.

manziel had bad games against good teams.  evens out.  manziel's numbers were better.

YES.  One bad game was all it needed to take for Klein this year. 

Everyone was willing to look past his otherwise less than mindblowing statistics (that heisman winners usually have) if he could have gotten K-State to a national championship.  Klein's whole deal is "he's consistent and he's a winner," well against Baylor, he blew it. 

We played fewer teams that are horrible.  He played more teams that are better than our best team.  He also had far better numbers than Klein.

No, the fact we played pretty much double the amount of bowl teams makes it a harder schedule.

Right, but "bowl teams" is just another metric.  Why should "bowl teams" be more important than "BCS bowl teams," or "currently ranked" teams, or "10 win" teams? 

Granted, K-State's SOS is 13 and A&M's is 29th.  BUT that difference is relatively marginal and Klein has far worse statistics.  SOS is only part of it.  Wins is only a part of it.  But only a part, that's why Golden at ND (8th SOS, undefeated) isn't a heisman contender.

You have to be in the NC or have the numbers.  Klein doesn't have either.  Manziel does.

The only issue that I have is that it seems like when we have the best player (Bishop, Michael Beasley), the award goes to a player just like Collin Klein. Now that we have the "hard worker" on our team, we still do not get the award.
