Going to JackStack for lunch.  Clams, what should I get?  Are these wings worth it?

the wings are pretty great, come with 2 sides.  GO FOR IT!
I'm all in, will report back after lunch where they rank in my wing scale.

Just enjoyed some Jack Stack wings and BBQ beans.  As always the beans were good, but we are here to talk about those wings.  They come out in a little ceramic bowl thing and there are about 10 wings?  All nice and smokey looking with a few charred areas.  They have a cajun rub on them and we not sauced at all.  Different than a buffalo wing for sure, but very good.  I would put them as my #1 nontraditional wing for sure.  Well above any of those wild flavors at BWW.  Thank you Clams

they use a dry rub and then dip them in butter.  maybe i hype them up more than i should but i've been eating an order a week for the past couple months.  i  consider all wings in the same category regardless of whether or not they use buffalo sauce to derive their heat or some dry rub or assgravy or whatever.  glad you liked them.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Make sure you get baked beans.

unless he eats lunch at 1:30, it looks like euro little to late with this suggestion.
Still on Euro time, obviously

Great place.
This really can't be emphasized too much. I've only been there for dinner (don't live in KC anymore). You should try it if you can. Good place for a date too.

Yeah, the brunch is amaze

Jackstack order tonight on the company dime: KC strip (medium rare), cheesy corn, and brocoli. 5 rounds of manhattans and fried shrooms and sausage for apps.

Wow.  Going to KC this weekend.  Definitely going to have to try out this "Jose Peppers" place i keep hearing about ITT.  Sounds really great.  The monterey chicken burrito with rice and beans and chicken smothered in their world famous espinaca cheese sauce?  Sign me up!

Thanks for the tips guys.

By the looks of that picture, I'm in for the best meal KC, or anywhere else in the world, has to offer.

God bless Jose Peppers, and God bless goEMAW.com.

I heard all those places are pretty B-league.  Word around this thread (elite posters) is that the Monty Chicken from J-Pep's is the heavy hitter.

I guess I'll just have to find out for myself this weekend?

Fanning you wouldn't know mexican food if it walked right up to you, crap on your New Balances, and barked "yo quiero taco bell" right in your fat face.

I'm going to shovel about 3 pounds of tortilla/chicken/espanaca mush all down my gullet this weekend and there's nothing you or any of you other gringo posers can do about it.

¡Qué #delicioso!
