Link?  The most recent news I could find was from March and it was still going in.

Has anyone ever eaten at Justus Drugstore in Smithville, MO?    I read some of the reviews on their website (it's been featured in Time Magazine, NY Times and USA Today among other publications)  Check out their menu

Anyway my wife and I are thinking about getting a sitter and heading out there sometime this summer.
Maybe for our anniversary, who knows?

are you me?   because I was JUST LOOKING AT THE YELP REVIEWS and came here to ask if anyone had been.

Maybe goEMAW will have to take it over one night.  We'll make it a pak!

It's definitely getting worse.

  :D

Last I heard the neighborhood was killing it and protested them getting a permit.

Grinders is a city thing anyways ... Come on down, we won't murder you first time.

Personally I'm sick of stretch due to his suing the streetcar. He has went from urban hero to kind of a dick.

I go down town all the time.

The March artical said that his request for 12 concerts per year got killed but that was it.

I guess I'm just assuming by the silence since then that it's dead...that neighborhood came out pretty strong against it/him.  I'm ready for him to leave downtown all together...he is turning into a pretty crap neighbor.

lots of good stuff in here, though oddly enough the recommendos come from the owner of Port Fonda (certified MEH place)

Now that I've been to Fonda a few times, I think it's one of those places that's good, but just not worth waiting an hour to eat there. Although, if you're not hungry, you can always put your name in and go grab a couple of beers at Harry's or somewhere.

It was obvious that everybody in there wore Baldwin, but at least he admits it's their uniform. Either they pay their employees pretty well, or when you work someplace like that your main employment concern is looking cool instead of making money.
