don't know if it's been mentioned here but Farmhouse by the river market has a fantastic brunch. and I love brunch.  :lick:

Great place.

the biscuits and gravy, wow.

I'll still contend majestic b&g are the best. Not typical shitty diner version. Buffalo sausage.  :lick:

I wrestle with this question. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I'm very Meh on it.

Hit up Rieger last night....again a great meal.  Almost got the chicken that was today featured in the NY Times.

Been craving some BBQ this week so i'm headed to Gates for lunch.  Getting pretty pumped for some brisket.  Might even mix it up with a little burnt ends/beef combo.

What's your favorite order from Gates?

Burnt Ends or Beef on Bun with a strawberry pop and a moderately large pile of pickles.

Gates isn't usually on the list of bbq flavors I crave, not a fan of their sauce or sides.

it was okay.   nothing special, and be glad you have a groupon because it's kind of overpriced for what you get.

Has anyone ever eaten at Justus Drugstore in Smithville, MO?    I read some of the reviews on their website (it's been featured in Time Magazine, NY Times and USA Today among other publications)  Check out their menu

Anyway my wife and I are thinking about getting a sitter and heading out there sometime this summer.
Maybe for our anniversary, who knows?

Justus Drugstore a restaurant is great. The only downfall with being in Smithville is that the staff is small timey.  I prefer going to the patio and having the burger, since it is the best burger I've ever had and it isn't even rough ridin' close at all.
