Shits getting a little out of hand here but I think we can all agree that Room 39 is the black sheep of 39th street and can go eff itself

there's really no reason to go to 39th street with the exception of grabbing an occasional d'Bronx pizza.

JJs has been recommendod several times in this thread.  don't recall seeing any garozzo's though.   so you got that going for you, which is nice.

forget to read the thread title?  last i checked we were talking about restaurants in this thread, inspector Clouseau.  maybe someone changed the subject and i missed it.  not sure.  i do remember when we were talking about dive bars in a different thread and i stated that DB's is the best dive bar in KC although i don't think i said it was my favorite dive bar.  would be kind of  weird to have a favorite dive bar.  matter of fact, i don't go to many dive bars anymore.  doesn't change the fact about DBs though. its still the best.  maybe in norcal people eat at dive bars? so you just assumed these threads were basically the same?

It used to be but they got new ownership/management or something and it is straight up no good anymore. I got a meatball grinder a couple months ago and it was like 90% crusty bread and the other 10% was soggy goo.  :frown:

Add Tavern in Prarie Village to the recommend list.  Really great restaurant, IMO.
