Boy that would have been great. Unfortunately I had to drive to the Dillons at Washburn and huntoon. I did walk to the corner liquor store though!

I once moved into an apartment and the fridge stopped working 2 weeks in. I just didn't use it for the rest of my year lease and didn't tell the complex until I moved out.

I went about 10 years without a microwave

It was fine!

I don't have one and I don't miss it except for popcorn.  It's not hard but I can't imagine trying it with kids.

stove top popcorn is great!

And I can't remember many times where I was like "damn I need a microwave" even with kids

It's good for warming up leftovers.

I used the oven a lot for this! I still use the oven for reheating pizza (and a few other things I can't think of right now)

While i'm mostly on team "just microwave it for 30 seconds", i've found that an air fryer does the above just as good and faster.

Place is great. I worry they are overextending themselves.

i feel like somehow it's cheaper to buy a whole pizza's worth of individual slices than it is to buy an entire pizza at tascio, what's the deal there

you mean too many hours/not enough help?

Just seen too many great small places expand too many locations, quality suffers or they get overextended financially when each new location doesn't necessarily add the same to their financials. Seems they are printing money though so could be totally fine.

i honestly had no idea they had as many locations as this thread is suggesting they do.

I know St. Joe was the original Il Lazzarone (also their pizza place) but I thought the NKC one was the first one of these?

i think that’s right.  it’s basically a poor man’s italian delight that costs too much

I'm so glad Italian Delight is back on Johnson Dr even if it's not the exact same. The Pizza slaps and the sandwiches are great.
