i really only use one button ever on the microwave, "add 30 seconds" and i hit that as many times as needed

I too am an "Add 30 seconds" button pusher until it gets to around the time I want.....Also I have never once touched the power button on a microwave so I'm assuming mine is just blasting out microwaves at 100%.

stove top popcorn is great!

And I can't remember many times where I was like "damn I need a microwave" even with kids

I have one of those fancy microwaves that you push a button and it opens up and comes out of the cabinet. It has like 17,000 settings and I'm pretty sure I can cook a turkey in it. I push 2 buttons. Open/Close and +1 minute. Sometimes I have to push clear.

stove top popcorn is great!

It's good for warming up leftovers.
