Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Trying Lotus Hot Pot tomorrow night, should be a good time. It will be my first hot pot experience and I have no idea what to expect. Going into a new dining experience with 0 expectations is exciting.

How was it?

That’s what I am asking. What does one need to get to really maximize a first visit to one of these suckers?

I don’t know if they’re all the same, but the ones I’ve been to have a buffet for like regular foods, but you order the raw meats from your server. Highly recommend a visit, if you’ve never been.

Lulus is wonderful

Yes, very much agree.

It is, I fully enjoy lulu's regardless of pissclam's assessment. That being said there is a wonderful Thai place called Lemongrass merely ~200ft from where Lulus intends to open their next spot. Now, there is Mr. Gyros, Sinbad's, Amirs, that are able to survive (rightfully so) in that area. Lemongrass survived COVID, ride and die for me

I've been to Chosun in Mission.   It was fine, but as it's the only one I've been to, I don't have much of a frame of reference.

It was fantastic, It's pretty much make your own ramen/pho which is dope. It was a fun experience that I will definitely do again. It was a nice/casual dinner date.

If you haven't been before the menu is super overwhelming. Luckily Ms. GregKSU1027 had been before and could explain it to me like I was five.
We got the Meat Combo with shrimp with the Mushroom broth and some random veggies, they let you pick 5 garnishes/sauces to put in your soup.  We absolutely crushed the meal and it was 70 bucks with tip for the two of us.
Lil #ack for ya.
They also let you take the broth and whatever else home so make sure if you have leftover ingredients to cook it all before you leave for the biggest bang for your buck.

Was fun and would do again.

Had Tays Burger Shack for the first time this weekend. It was....fine  :dunno: Too much bun. Cosmo burger kicks the absolute crap out of it and I would much rather drive 2 minutes to Snack Shack on Johnson.

Me too.  If you haven't pooped in like a week and need something to clean you completely TF out, Lulu's does the trick every time.   :bs:

I myself have only pooped thrice this calendar year. It's mind over matter, and it really brings things into perspective. Recommend.

If I go over two days without having a fresh excrement, I end up shitting big hard balls that I need a machete to cut those smelly monsters.

the longer you hold in the poop, the more of it will reabsorb into your body therefore saving the environment and producing a more “organic” dung.  if you’ve not tried it, you might be surprised how much mother nature appreciates the highest organic concentration dung.

most people don’t even know this.   being full of crap is the best thing you can do if you want to protect the environment.

Very funny and deep.  I nominate this bit of intellectual knowledge for the "word".
