I visited there on sunday.  agree with your assessment.

I got the spicy chicken biscuit which was pretty tasty, and split some tots.

New to this thread. I'm relatively KC noob, not only have I not been to the original Joe's, I don't even know where it is. I didn't really come here until I moved to Iowa, yes here now, staying at the Cloverleaf Suites, wanted to give them a try, waaaayyyy out of the way for me, pretty good, converted apartments, we're in a two bedroom suite that is big and clean, kids love it. Anyway this is a restaurant thread.

We ate at Ricco's Italian Bistro tonight and it might have been the best dining experience I've ever had, everything was amazing. Again JOCO is way out of the way for us but we'll definitely come back to Ricco's.

Don’t eat the q. It pales in comparison to the q in Wichita.

Facts. Although I will say that my reference to overrated KC Q relates to the Big 4; Joes, Gates, AB's, and Jack Stack. I'm a ribs guy and the ribs at Joe's were just okay, Gates and AB's ribs are straight awful, and Jack Stack is very good.

It's good

Riccos is an absolute gem. Eat there with my dad about once per month.

Everything is good.
