the idea that bars have servers or when going out, most would prefer to be served by someone paid to host and wait on them isn't a foreign one except to phil and mocat. it's called relaxing. not getting up from your conversation with friends or from the game you are focused on so you can slug your way through a busy place and refill your beer is a reward to a hard week. also, not a new concept. but hey, to each their own. if you can be suckered into fattening a bar owner's margins by waiting on yourself, then go for it.
