Went to Stock Hill for V day last night. The deliciousness to cost ratio is not too good

I don't have much of an issue paying $225+ for a good dinner, but it needs to be a dinner that really sticks out as fantastic. I probably could have gone to any decent spot around the city and had the same meal for half the price. FWIW I think cap grille is over priced too.

Good to hear!

I totally have an issue with paying that for food, but i'm a super cheap ass. I just can't put enough reasoning behind it.

Keep hearing this...too bad but typical for B&B Concepts...great idea, not great execution on food.

i just struggle paying $60 for a steak.

i will say their appetizer sampler thing was very impressive. shrimp, fish collar, mussels, bone marrow, garlic bread, various other things.

Me too. I find it much more fun grilling one at those prices either way.

ya, but: $225- 20% tip = $180 - $50 PAK Juice = $130 / 2 = $65 each.  at an a la carte steakhouse, that's a low figure per head and that's before 9% sales tax

it looks like stock hill's steaks run roughly $55 on average, sides are $10 per, a $15 app and a $10 salad (both split) along with a $13 dessert and you're easily there or beyond

not a timely comment, but I have always been literally physically sickened by the fact that burgermania is trapped in here and not it's own thread

$225 did not include tip, sorry I did not clarify.
