this place gets great yelp reviews but I was really concerned when I got there and there was one person in the restaurant/bar

fries are terrible but maybe they just did not survive the drive home

the burger was basic AF but the rough rider surprised me.  looked like crap, tasted great!

$7.75 total before tip

had to drop my mbp off at the Apple Store this morning so pics have to wait until I get it back

thinking about this for dinner but the fries are scaring me off

K-State Burger - 1 patty, brisket slices, provolone, on texas toast

burger - 0/7  literally the least flavorful thing i've ever eaten in my entire life.  mother of god this thing was terrible.  2 bites and in the trash
fries - 3/7 a little soggy, but i'm willing to blame that on the car ride.  seasoned and tasty, just need to get crispier
baked beans - 6/7 pretty damn good little number here.  has a bit of spice to it
original bbq sauce - 5/7 not bad at all, standard kc bbq sauce
spicy bbq sauce - 6/7 very good, but not all that spicy
ambience - 5/7 pretty new, wasn't a shithole

verdict - piece of crap, do not recommend

My work cafeteria

Burger- 1/7. I mean I guess I've had worse but these are pretty garbagey. They keep them in like hot oil water and then throw them in the grill for a minute to warm them up a bit.

Fries- 2/7, I dump a ton of cholula sauce on them.

Total cost- $2.40.

Verdict- sometimes they are out of chicken strips and you just don't feel like a salad. Solid once a month option.

Have you tried Max's yet on Wornall? Small little dive diner with very good burgers and gyros.

Also, can't go wrong with Governor Stumpy's. Wish they were open on Sundays.
