It really is the best. I don't feel like it should count as a burger, because the burnt ends are what makes it great, but whatever.

like the gouda cheese and the other accoutrements that are on your beer kitchen burger?

Rick Daris burger mania day 1- the green room.

Burger- 8/10
Tots- 2.5/5

They apparently pepper the heck out of their burgers which knock knock who's there a guy who loves pepper. This makes them score high on this burger lovers chart. Tots were avg to slightly below avg tots. Step up your tot game, the green room says this burger mania challenger. Props for the free pop a shot game on the patio.

I don't get the Z-Man. Cheese on a brisket sammie doesn't make sense.

I usually get the Pulled Pork or Smokie Joe. I kinda feel bad for people who only get the Z Man. I also get the ribs or burnt ends sometimes too guys.

The Z Man seems like it should be horrible and an insult to the world of bbq. Onion rings and cheese just dont belong anywhere near brisket amirite?  I think this was the look on my face when someone first described it to me:  :sdeek:

But you know what happened when I decided to actually try one, it was pretty goddam tasty. That being said it's definitely not the only thing I ever get.

I had a BM jazzoo pleasant surprise. Stopped at the BRGR booth as they weren't busy. I'm not a fan of BRGR but if they would sell the burger they were giving away last night I would be a huge fan. Great burger. Cheese, onion, mustard pickle. Glorious. I wish i would have snapped a pic but I wasn't expecting much so didn't think of it. Easily a 7.9

Its a great sandwich. It's not a great BBQ sandwich... That's my approach to the Z

Welp appears the burger I'm describing is their BRGR on their normal menu. Maybe have to give them another chance at the restaurant.

went to the kc Coco Bolos for the first time this weekend. MEH. ordered chips and queso. ok it's $8, whatever, fine just give to me. wanted some salsa so asked for a side of salsa with it, they charged $4 for an entire additional "chips and salsa" appetizer. so $12 for chips and salsa/queso. eff. that.

the entree was fine and it's a cool set up they've got there at prairie fire, particularly in nice weather.

restaurant.com is doing a promotion today and tomorrow to get a $25 gift certificate for $3.  Looks like about 30 places are on the list for KC.
