also of note- raising cane's in westport appears to be open or very close- the workers were there today and the lights were on

true story: we have a summer intern here at the office and he's from DFW area. he asked me where "westport" is, so i told him where, and i asked if he was looking for bars or something, and he said no, he heard there was a raising cane's opening there and he loves raising cane's

How do you guys make burgers at home? The old fashion way? I don't. I cut up jalapenos and ball up pepper jack chz and insert it inside the meat. Then I marinade it in Worcestershire, an A1 marinade, Apple wood seasoning from the market and a little garlic salt and then I put it on our indoor grill.  :lick: #BURGERMANIA

Went to Grinder's today. Decided to partake in BURGERMANIA. forgot to take pics though...

Burger was pretty ok, pretty standard. Went with a friend, and food came out at different times, so that's gonna hurt the overall rating. Wilty lettuce, thin 'mato. I'd give it a 5.6/10

Fries: ordered the fries for extra, shouldn't have. Very meh. Seemed like standard frozen crinkle fries you'd buy from Costco. Not very warm. 2.1/5

Overall a sort of disappointing experience. I feel this way everytime I go to Grinder's. I still go back though.

Have you ever asked Grinders about a little partnership? Like putting your beer on tap? Or would that keep them from walking across the street?

Man, between Wacky's burger recipe and his steak marinade, I'm not sure he knows what beef actually tastes like   :frown:

My dad was cattle buyer growing up. This is just me rebelling from my childhood. Don't worry, I do it right when i'm out eating. Medium rare, no sauce, of course. I'm not a monster. Just like to try and be creative every once and awhile.
