It doesn't compare to any of the big dogs, but saying it sucks is a bit much. They've been around for over 30 years for some reason. They average a 4.5/5 everywhere you look online.

Brobeck's hasn't been around all that long. The Proprietor's first barbecue restaurant was Stilwell Smokehouse at about 194th and Metcalf. After it burned down the first time (lightning c. 2000?) he sold it, and the next iteration was shitty. I grew up on Doug Brobeck's BBQ about once a week, and graduated HS with his son.

I go to Brobeck's every once in a while, because I don't live too far from there and it's never super busy. I like it. They have this table full of various brands of BBQ sauce that you can use, which I think is cool.

Yeah, that's why we went there. We didn't want to deal with the ok joes traffic. I liked their mustard based sauce.

BRGR last night was fantastic. Never had the fried deviled eggs before. They were great

Thinking about going to Jon Russel's BBQ today. Options are limited because it's Sunday. JR's has a pretty good corned beef special today.
