pierponts rough ridin' sucks so go there and come tell us how much you liked it.  a slightly worse version of sirloin stockade, if you will.

we had a really good meal there the one time we went, though that was probably 5 years ago.

I've never been to any of those either but Extra Virgin is always packed and Rye is good so Bluestem is probably good too.

Extra Virgin is pretty good, i'd recommend getting there during happy hour (before 6) if you can. most items are half off so you can really explore the menu.

Bluestem is the best meal I've ever had.  By a fair margin.

Doing a green Dirt Farms dinner Sunday with the chef from Rieger, looking forward to it.

right next door to Bluestem is Potpie, which I had last week. pretty damn good. had the beef and mushroom pot pie, it was excellent, and i wouldn't normally order pot pie in a restaurant. they had some other awesome looking dishes but i went for a cheaper night out.

i think the best thing at pot pie is their pan roasted chicken.  it's great.
i would eat there more often but the dining room is very loud and small and slow

ate at the Jacobsen a few months ago, place seemed overly dark, like I couldn't see the food on the plate in front of me.  food was real good tho.

Interesting....I haven't been wow'd at Jacobson outside of their patio.

I'm a big fan of Blvd Tavern lately....

Starting Saturday, September 26, and running through the end of October, the OP Papa Keno's is selling a slice of pizza and a Free State beer for $6.99.

"We'll also be offering — on Mondays only — any 18-inch specialty pizza for $18.99, and an 18-inch cheese pizza for $10.99. This special will be available through October 19," Levechin says.

The Overland Park Papa Keno's is also installing a Tuesday-only special: cheese-pizza slices for $2.25 through October 20.
