I had ahi tartare at a local steakhouse recently... Wowza! Who knew tuna could be so tasty?

Did Char Bar for lunch. The three of us that went all agreed we liked our meals better than what we have had before at Q39. And it's more convenient with all the easy and accessible parking.

more like Boom Gas Grilled.

I ate at Anton's for the first time last night. The bone marrow app was awesome. Even better was the suggestion by the bartender of taking a whiskey shot out of it.

They were out of the grain fed aged bone-in ribeye so I went with the grass fed one. It had a noticeably different taste which I didn't care for as much. Which leads to the question: What is everyone's opinion on grain fed vs. grass fed beef?

Dinner was followed up by jazz and drinks at the Green Lady Lounge. Pretty great evening overall.

I've noticed everywhere I eat in sf has grass fed and it definitely has a weird taste. Grain fed for this white midwesterner.

Pete holds the throne for resident expert in KC Mexican food. I believe it is Sys that is the overall Mexican food expert. Mocat could very well be our resident KC TexMex food expert though.

Papa Keno's is a favorite of mine. Good to see they admit that it kinda got meh for a while and are committed to fixing it.
