Yeah it's no Q39 but it's a great add to the neighborhood that is Westport.

I think I've done a 180* change on Gram and Dunn...maybe it was the marathon of drinking yesterday at the K but their apps were pretty delicious.  The main courses we had were above average, nothing great.  I have boozed there quite a few times but hadn't been to GnD for a meal since they first opened.

I liked batter their fried stuff is in. Lot's of burger places in Westport tho. Their homebrew was not good IMO

Yeah, I guess if I'm in Westport and I'm craving a burger, I'd just rather go to Beer Kitchen. Maybe I wasn't as much of a fan because Ms. Wacky didn't like it.  :dunno:

did you get that one burger with black rye bread? wow

also the down home charm is very adorable, like the little window through which you can see their beer tank thing. on the left side of the window it says "brewery tour starts here" and on the right side of the window "end of brewery tour"

I loved the place. I always wondered what it looked like inside and it was perfect. We watched the Royals game there. Service kinda sucked, but there was just one bartender and it looked like a lot of regulars were there at the bar. Ms. wacky and I always pick out the two burgers (or items) we want and cut them in half and share them when we try new places. We had the Forty-Ten and the Pappy burger. I tried their Rye beer and it was pretty good. That's what they suggested.

I hope $$$ooo.   It's my birthday present to Mrs. 4dcats.    I thought I got them at first for the Garrelts night, but apparently I mistakenly selected the wrong night on the phone and got the Riger Hotel chef's night, which I'm okay with (other than it's a Sunday).
