to clams' point, firehouse was pretty good but my goodness, waaaay too big for them.

how many $5 subs can you sell between 11:00-1:00 each day?  hopefully a lot when your rent runs around $12k/month.
And potbelly crushed them with a better location better price better service but equal product.

seems like you're hearing a lot of wrong information lately, I'd be concerned

you know what would be funny? it would be funny if clams knew totola in real life and knew he was totola but totola didn't know clams was clams and then clams purposefully gives him wrong information just so titola can spill it here and then clams can tell him he's wrong.

I've only done Il Lazzarone's pizza once (their DOCG certified one) and I think I like their restaurant overall better (hours, bar space, patio), but for now, PB is my favorite...seems blue grotto puts too much on their pizzas.

I need to try that place for lunch at least.  They are usually closed by the time I get to Pizza Bella.

www.recommendeddaily.co/five-questions-for-happy-gillis-josh-abbey-jo-eans-who-are-hoping-to-open-the-columbus-park-ramen-shop/

not kidding, i was dreaming of opening a small ramen shop in the westport area about a month or so ago.
similar to what noodlecat is doing in cleveland.  i think it'd do ok and be fun to operate.

Happy Gillis is my favorite straight up breakfast joint in kc.  A lot of that is because the neighborhood and location is amazing in the mornings. Also the food is  real good too.

I like HG, but I never feel like I get that much food when I go. Similar to Rock a Belly, I feel like they're playing "just the tip" with my appetite.

After lots of Ill Lazzarone chatter, I went. Very good. Had the bacon and balsamic glaze one. Good service too.

Art of pizza is the best!  Pizza Bella's pizza is meh, but their other food is always really, really good.  I am interested in trying the river market stuff now.  Moving back downtown in June, can't wait to try all of this stuff

This analogy doesn't work.  The wielder of the tip plays "just the tip" so that more can be introduced later.  That's not what they're doing to your appetite.  Unless you're the tip wielder here, but then you're not paying them for some food in the hopes that later they'll cave and give you a bunch of food.  At least not realistically.  Though maybe that's how "just the tip" operates for you.  Unrealistic expectations routinely unmet, yet you remain undeterred.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

I do feel like PB has declined in some of their pizzas. They've almost added too much cheese to many of their pies. The prosciutto one with argula is my goto
