Zocalo- shitty service. Weird vibe. Bad guac. Good cheese n chorizo dip. Decent carne asada(easy to make a medium rare chunk of meat), one of three salsas was good.

i walked around the new JJ's yesterday.  located on roanoke in the west plaza polsinelli building.
the bar is about 4x the size of the old one, 4 boulevard taps and something else i don't remember.  huge.
the restaurant is pretty small, about the size of the bar.  there's a patio with tables out front as well.  opens next thursday.

jax's, it sits right above JJ's.  the food is pretty good.  they have a peel & eat shrimp deal during happy hour, half pound for $5.  i've gotten it carry out a couple of times.  the messy shrimp was disgusting, some fish i got when i was pak'd was really good.

decent happy hour place.  small bar but kind of fun/different.

-started in Fort Worth
-Applebee's guy bought the rights to open 10+ KC locations
-they cook their pizzas in 5 minutes (hence the name)
