Went to Westport Ale House this weekend. Was very unimpressed,  for a place with the words "ale house" in the name their beer list was very meh.

Also my buds car got stolen while we were in there  :sdeek:
I shouldn't talk bad about that place for business reasons, but it's very underwhelming. It's also overpriced for what you get. I think they priced their tank 7 at like $8-9. I mean, what a jk.

Ale House is a kickball sponsor?

Yup! Wednesday and Thursday nights they have $3 tall boys (domestic) and half priced wings for the teams.

Where should I go to lunch today?  No dieting this week (forefathers died for this).

You know what Leawood establishment I absolutely love for lunch and think is great?  Tavern at Mission Farms.

Really, I just thought it was ho him.  Had a Cuban sandwich, IIRC.

Much like the owners other establishment, Coal Vines, this place is Meh. I'm excited that they rehabbed the building though. So win for the neighborhood when they go out of business and hopefully someone better takes it over.

Don't get me wrong tho. I do love their jalapeno popper burger. Anytime you put fried jalapenoes on meat with cream cheese; you win!

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

that's a real pain.  an acquaintance had his car stolen from the plaza boa garage and i think his insurance made him wait a few weeks before reimbursing him.

I could also hear myself stacking cash during the whole process as well. It was a real treat.

Pro tip:  This is not a sponsorship, this is Ale House getting people from the kickball league to come drink beer that isn't on sale on a slow night.

It is tho. Ppl pay less for the league, cause of their sponsorship. We've got hats and all kinds of other stuff.  :dunno:

Talk about overrated. I kept thinking I'd go and just kept putting it off but finally went to the original one in the gas station today. Had the burnt end platter. Extremely average at best.

This rough ridin' guy!

Old cars are all they steal anymore...new cars with those chips are less vulnerable (I think)
