yes they do it.  i was actually talking to the hostess there last night about it.  last year i had a bone in strip steak (KC).  there should be a website somewhere that talks about who's doing it and what their special rough ridin' food is for it.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Love hitting EBT's during restaurant week!  Want to try Blue Bird this year as well.  :excited:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

1: Butcher's Block Platter was large enough for two but i ate all of it
2: Steak and Vegetable Soup, probably best i've had since the early 90's
3: Airline Chicken, spinach and goat cheese stuffed breast with prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and smoked gouda mashed potatoes. the mocat trifecta of delicious

i mean jfc you guys do you want me to make it any clearer why you should go?

Went to Zocalo this past weekend and OH.MY.GOD they had a Mussels and Chorizo dish that knocked my balls into Brookside.

Chorizo is the best thing going in the food game right now.

Ate at the Opera House Saturday morning. It was pretty awesome. Apparently they have the best burger in city market. Also, they're breakfast sandwich and potatoe sides were the bomb. Pretty hipsterish. seemed like MC's dream spot. Also, some hipsters were wearing those baggy stocking caps to look super "I don't care about anything, suck it mom and dad, Save the earth, and meh, don't care! Heh, look at me, I'm different.). :love:

just so we're clear here folks, Zocalo is rough ridin' garbage.  inedible at binge level 7.

@wackysquawk08

Had farmhouse for breakfast on Sunday with the GF.... :love: :love: :love: :love: Thanks for the pro-tip.

I don't care about how they source they food from "Local growers" I just care that it was DAM good. Forgot the name of what I ordered but it was 2 huge fancy schmancy biscuits/gravy and a fried egg piled on a large chunk of sausage.

They also serve their coffee in French presses...Like you order a large coffee and they bring you a full French press  :love: :love:
