Memorial Stadium is great! Only thing that sucks is the parking - you have to leave during the 3rd quarter or else you'll be stuck for hours...

Traffic should be cleared out by then since most folks leave at, or before, halftime.

One thing for sure, I wouldn't want to traverse a student slum to find my way to a football stadium.

That's really what sets places like Georgia, Clemson and UNC apart from ku. Their stadiums are surrounded by the academic setting on all sides, yet are tucked away in such a way that from multiple sides you don't even know it's there until you're right on top of it, and all of those stadiums, particularly the case with Georgia and Clemson which are much larger than ku's memorial.

All ku AD's have to play the "we don't want to mess with the setting" game because that's what phogtucks want to hear. Pull the same AD aside and ask them if they want to make 7 figures cash money every year selling parking spots and they'll sign up for that all day every day and twice on Sunday.

We had no problems if you dont mind walking across campus back to the Phog area where they had us tailgate....
