How do I know this? Because he doesn't think he did anything wrong at Illinois! I mean my god, the man got fired and thinks it was just bad luck and he gave the school the best 9 year stretch in school history! The complete lack of self-awareness and acknowledgement of failure should scare the crap out of you weberites.
hard to argue with this, which, again, is why i was taken aback when he said the toughest question john currie asked him during the interview process was, "why kansas state?"
the toughest question should have been, "what went wrong, what did you learn, and how will you change?" you're right, i don't get the impression that oscar will be doing much soul searching over what went wrong at illinois. which is too bad, because i think he IS a good coach and can
easily figure out what went wrong and why it went wrong if he spent some time thinking about it.
