I've always been impressed with Trim's ability to say whatever is on his mind and not hold back, like, at all! He's got qualities I wish I endured.

I'm for hire if EMAWs want to bring me to their local catbacker events to liven things up.

If I'd had more time today, I'd have liked to have gone to to the various cowboy stores he may have purchased his get-up from and gotten a goEMAW exclusive interview.  If there are any GC goEMAW'rs out there who want to do an investigative piece for the blog, we'd love it.

I did a phone interview with wabash909 about last night's events on my drive home and remembered another funny thing.  CPA was telling Currie how he needs to be more aggressive and Currie tried to relate with tough talk and at one point said something like "we're building that facility in 3 damn years, that's aggressive crap."

Currie did look absolutely ridiculous. I will never understand why people think western Kansans won't like them if they aren't wearing jeans and boots. I didn't show up until almost 6:30, and I didn't see Trim's encounter. I did notice Currie sitting not too far from me, sweating his ass off (it wasn't hot) before he was about to speak. He did NOT seem to be enjoying Scott City. Trim's story explains a lot here.

I thought JO was great, and Weber did a pretty good job. Everyone representing K-State football was great, especially Tre Walker, who said "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Will Spradling was absolutely horrible. He said a bunch of jokes throughout his speech and JO's, and none of them were funny.

I was talking about this with our DC attorney on the way back from GC yesterday and had planned on starting a thread for hypothetical places JC could be speaking at and what he'd wear.  For the BSU meeting, we had him in more of a bright-colored 1990s NBA draftee suit.  I analogized Wednesday's clownsuit earlier to him going orthodox jew at a JCC gathering.

Good to get another confirmo here.  I wasn't sure for a minute at the event whether it really was ridiculous or if I was just jaded, but most of the locals there quickly mocked him too.

Hey SD, I know you have asked me to shut up, but I just wanted to point out that this post had me laughing for 30 seconds. I think you are probably 100% correct that he did this, I just never thought that he would do this until you pointed it out.
