Of course I'm stupid for bringing up this argument because of the tourism mecca that is Salina, KS compared to SC's dinky Charleston and Myrtle Beach...no one ever wants to go there.

I worked on Ft. Riley, and in fact played a part in building quite a bit of new housing on post. I know what shitty construction/planning/building on old medical dumps/finding syringes in the dirt while hanging siding (ie. right across from the middle school). I also lived there from 90-96. Fort Riley is a crap hole.

Don't try and turn it into a military army disrespect thing. Both my parents are vets. I'm just saying Ft. Riley as a place to live sucks. I also worked on Air Force bases, and there was a stark difference in quality of surroundings, buildings, etc.
