Scene:
-A redass Frank and Katz sit alone in a conference room at a table.  The meeting time came and went 16 minutes ago.  Suddenly the door flys open and a drunk John Currie stumbles in laughing.

Currie:  Sorry I'm late guys, lunch ran a bit drunkIMEANlong.

-Frank stands up in a rage but before the first word comes out of his mouth a hand grabs the door that is closing and oscar Pearl wobbles in and takes a seat next to John Currie.  Frank is dumbfounded and stands there like a rough ridin' idiot with his finger still pointed at Currie.

Currie:  You guys know oscar, right?  He's agreed to act as an advisor in our contract talks.  I hope you don't mind.

-Currie and oscar high five and laugh as the scene star wipes to black

maybe in the next scene you could have currie and pearl double-teaming erin andrews while frank watches and cries

Am I looking at this right?  Frank leaves before April 15, he'd owe $1 million buyout, lose a $250,000 retention payment, and give up any claim to another retention payment (up to $200,000 as of now).  Doesn't seem like he will be going anywhere... right away anyways.  That is unless, his will to leave it bigger than the money... or USC will put up the dough.

Yes, all of that is true.

I suppose you could look at SC's $2.4 Mil buyout of Darren Horn 1 of 2 ways.

a) They have plenty of money to spend, so Frank's $1.0 Mil buyout and even the $250K are no big deal.
b) They will be looking for an up and comer that they can pay decent, but may not have a lot of extra cash laying around to spend on more buy-outs.

Horn's was making $1.2 Mil at SC.

Frank seems very much like a fam guy.  Fam guys move for two reasons:

1. money
2. money and location/proximity to fam

Maybe Frank can go teach math somewhere.  God knows nobody else is going to let his basketball circus come to town.

In the article from the SC news station I linked a few pages back made sure to mention that Tubby didn't have a buyout.

I know that SC shouldn't have a money issue, but they may be unwilling to part with $3.4 million in the buyout of an old coach and the hiring of a new one, while paying the new one more guaranteed money.

Just a thought.

Guys, relax.

@kstate_pres retweet: "Happy Birthday @FrankMartinKSU!  Thanks for another great basketball season! Go #Kstate!"

@John_Currie retweet: "Happy Birthday to @FrankMartinKSU.  Wishing him a great day from Wildcat Nation!"

Sounds like everybody's getting along just fine.  Although, they are "re"tweets.  not just tweets.  FWIW.

So what are our official Frank seasons?  We have:

-Franuary where he sucks ass all over the court
-Frankruary where he dominates on the court and we all party
-Frarch where he exactly meet expectations
-Frapril where he's a whiny bitch and everyone used to freak out but now we're, like, get over it Frank you rough ridin' idiot.  Nobody wants to hire you anyway.  You are stuck with us and vice versa.  Go sign some decent recruits and quit running off our mediocre players. Or just hit the road.  Nobody really gives a eff anymore. It's basically football season anyway and we have bigger fish to fry.

Depaul was the only one that even considered him.  Let him prance around in front of the pretty girls and even the mediocre girls.  They won't touch him.
