Why do we have to play Southern Missouri State, didn't they lose the play in game last night to Northwestern Eastern Kentucky?

I think that was the all-sheep team. We still have to play the coed team; I hear they're almost very average in the...the...well, whatever conference they're in.

The game should only take about 30 minutes.

Forrest County was actually carved out of an already existing county. Perry County. Forrest County was created in 1908.

When I was a baby, Mama named me after the great Civil War hero General Nathan Bedford Forrest. She said we was related to him in some way. What he did was he started up this club called the Ku Klux Klan.

They'd all dress up in their robes and their bed sheets and act like a bunch of ghosts or spooks or something. They'd even put bed sheets on their horses and ride around. And anyway, that's how I got my name, Forrest Gump. Mama said the Forrest part was to remind me that sometimes we all do things that, well, just don't make no sense.

The facts don't stop!

Mississippians view their welfare checks and food stamps as reparations for their ancestors having their slaves taken away.

All you Kansas State fans on here bashing Southern Mississippi need to be educated. Southern Mississippi plays in Conference USA with the likes of Memphis, SMU, UTEP, Tulane and Houston. Their mascot is a Golden Eagle, not a rebel.

The University of Mississippi is also called Ole Miss and plays in the Southeatern Conference with the likes of Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Florida, etc. etc.  The same conference that has won the last six national championships in football. Ole Miss' nickname is the Rebels but their mascot is a Black Bear.

Before you get on a website and start bashing a school or mascot at least get your facts straight. nd you better watch out for them in the NCAA. They do have the capability to beat you.

I believe the term, as used in the Mississippi geographical area is, "to get edumacaded". I used to think it was cute when those less IQ fortunate tried to, "get all uppity" or "put on airs", but it's starting to become sad. But, I would say, bless your hearts.
