Start with palms facing towards you. Do dead hang pull-ups if you can. All the way down so that your forearm and upperarm are at 180 degrees. Pause, then do a pull_up.

By doing them.  If you can't do one, then do lat pull downs until you can.  Do not do the crossfit pullups unless you want to look like a loser (sorry yla).

Depends on which type creatine you got. **Tip, the packaging will tell you the answers to those questions.

Got my elliptical all set up and have been cruising in place these last few days, imagining I am next to steve dave and Will_I_Am.

Just started doing the shin splint preventative exercises from that Gizmodo article posted a while back. They are hard as crap.  :sdeek: I will report back though.

Oh, and I don't know if this belongs in this thread or the Townie thread or the Penn State thread, but one day in the late 90s well after MHS football practice was over, SB's older bro ran back into the lockerroom to retrieve something and he saw a starkers Lew Lane by himself in the shower doing nude calf raises. Any other Ihndzz have this experience?  Benja, are calf raises more effective while hanging brain?

Very hot. It was a work outing though, so you can't beat the price. Schlitterbahn is better than Oceans of Fun though.

I've had a routine for the past 4 months and went from very average looking, to ripped and 15 pounds lighter. I burned some P90x and Insanity dvds. I happen to really like the workouts and I kind of need someone telling me what to do. Also not a big gym fan, hate it when huge buff douches leave their weights on a bench like they are coming back but never do.  If I just show up to the rec or the gym to work out, I catch myself just sitting there listening to my awesome "Workout Playlist". Here ya go:

Weeks 1-3
Mon.-P90x Chest Back, Ab Ripper X
Tues.-Insanity Plyo
Wed.-P90x Shoulders Arms, Ab Ripper X
Th.- Insanity Cardio
Fri.- :dunno:..... :drink:
Sat.- ^
Sun.-

Week 4-6
Mon.-P90x Chest, Shoulder, Tri, Ab Ripper X
Tues.-Insanity Max Plyo
Wed.- P90x Back and Biceps, Ab Ripper X
Th.-Insanity Max Cardio

This way, you're getting a much better cardio/fat burning routine in Insanity, and an elite muscle gaining routine in P90x.
Rinse, Repeat

Used to do similar, but need to have surgery on my wrist. Hope to get back to it eventually.

Am curious about insanity and had some questions for those of you who've done it (or tried it).

I've been running anywhere from 1-2 miles 5x/week and don't need to gain anymore muscle mass so this looks like a workout that could benefit me.  Anyone here tried/done it?  How was it?  Did you try it while reducing caloric intake to <1600 kcal?  Weight loss or fat % loss (for those who track).  Was it hard to sustain?  Tips/Comments/Whatever are helpful.

 TIA.

I'm about to get in great shape.  I'm fat now, but after I'm all swolled out and ripped I'll tell you guys what I did to get so buff and hott.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

You should just elliptical for an hour or whatever. I mean, swimming wtf? I highly doubt you can even watch netflix while you do that.
