Quote from: Benja on March 10, 2014, 05:10:52 PMDo what you want, but I'd aim for no more than a 200 cal deficit. More than that really doesn't accelerate the process much and can make you feel crummy and lose muscle mass. So, if the app says I need 1823 calories I shouldn't drop much below 1600...right? Also, on the days when I workout do I need to eat a little more or can I use that as bonus burn?

It's a lifelong experiment.

(like a real handstand for a long time) I would like to learn to do one and any advice is appreciated. TIA practice with the wall first.. Once you feel stable start by taking one foot off at a time and progress from there Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI can already do one against a wall. And then I can stay there for about 2-4 seconds after I take my feet from the wall. How do I work on my balance to keep up without the wall?

You nailed it with the high carb comment. Our diets are loaded with carbs. I rarely eat bread and I still struggle to keep carbs in range.

How do I work on my balance to keep up without the wall? are you comfortable kicking into one knowing you might roll over? That was my problem kicking to light or too hard. Try some roll outs if you are scared. Also turn around walk up the wall and try putting your nose to the wall while keeping the front if your legs off of it.(no I'm not kidding) and tight core arms locked out and your toes pointed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am using myfitnesspal and it is awesome. It really helps me keep track of what I eat throughout the day. Based on what I put in there, it is telling me my goal is around 1800 cals per day. I've just been trying to accelerate the process by eating a few hundred cals less per day. Maybe I am screwing up .

I have joked a lot about just doing bench and curls but I really try and work out everything(legs on the days my knees feel well enough). The one thing I need to increase is cardio, since I can't just run I have to do elliptical and bike, but it is SO rough ridin' BORING, just need to suck it up I guess to loose the lbs.

Especially rowing machines at the rec with the water in them.2 The sound of the sloshing water adds ambiance.Just set that sucker to max level and do 1k, you'll feel pretty great

Like are they "in" the rec, or in that atrocious building in their extended parking lot?
start swimming
Has anyone done those Arnold workouts? (30,12,10,8,6) I want to know what you think of them. I rather enjoy them
Good home workouts: go.
Home workouts suck. The best thing in life is crushing a local Golds for 2 hours with a bunch of like minded folks
