There always talking about homemade guns. I've seen Egyptian engineering up close and I would want no part of firing a homemade Egyptian gun.

i almost got shot but the wood table with 1/16 inch laminate stopped the bullet so then i threw a brick at the guy.

A lot of the ammo is bird shot. Twitter is full of pics of people showing where they got hit.

I don't know if there is precedent anywhere for this, but it sure seems like the best way to celebrate a past successful revolution, while in the midst of a successful revolution, would be to really dial it up a bit.

Also, wasn't that Mbarik's(sp) rev in '52? So, maybe no celebration of that?

This will seem really odd, but Nasr and Sadat remain extremely popular. Like George Washington/Abraham Lincoln popular. Not sure about Naguib. Seems everyone mostly views him as a Peyton Randolph.

This is a pretty great pic of the scene of last night's violence. This is the main highway to city stars/downtown Heliopolis. The structure in the background is the monument marking where Sadat was assassinated.
