I realize this may be in poor taste - but I'm really curious to know how he died?   Does anyone know?

does it matter in any way other than to satiate your morbid curiousity?

no.
But I feel it's a pretty natural feeling to have.  He was just so damned young and the curiosity of wondering if there was anything anyone could have done just keep popping up - even if it doesn't matter at this point.   Assessing blame is often a step in the method of coping/moving on.  Forgive me.

I think "what happened?" Is a fair/honest question and hardly morbid.

It's fair to ask and equally fair not to answer.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds here, but I think it is fair to share the following:

natural causes, there will be no autopsy in accordance with their religious tradition.

Thanks KK.  I really hope no one takes offense to my curiosity.  It really is with the purest of intentions.

I took no offense to you Sd.  I realize the fragile nature of the subject and was trying my best to tread lightly.

Man, that is scary.  Natural causes at such an age.

Very sorry.

I went to highschool with a person that passed away at around the same age. he had finished med school and had just finished his medical residency as well.  he went for a jog early one morning and someone found him lifeless in a yard fairly close to where he lived. the guy was a really good athelete and was in good shape. he was well liked by all. he also had an undiagnosed medical condition. losing good people out of the blue at a young age is a hard thing to come to grips with. it sucks.
