I couldn't imagine anything worse than being fat. T's and P's.

It is tough that's for sure.  Think I'll grab a cupcake, BRB.

You came back here for a reason.  I am going to help you lose that 120 pounds.  Me and you...and our other friendly and fit go EMAW posters.

We finished 8-5 in '08.  Ranked top 15 and 5-0 in 09.  Really only the last few years have been bad.  Still beat a couple bowl teams and competed with some good teams with Gill at the helm.  And I love college basketball.  March Madness is the best event in all of sports.

COMPETED WITH SOME GOOD TEAMS!

23-2 in AFH West.  KU should play a few non-con games there as well.  Love that place.

March Madness is ok. Not nearly as good as everyone pretends it is. Really boring after the first weekend. There are probably about 6 sporting events that are better.

Plus, last year's NC was probably worst ever.

Like I said, your guys' best season in nine years was a 10-3 Cotton Bowl runner-up appearance.  You don't sign top 10 recruiting classes.  You don't win national titles.  You don't even really go to BCS Bowls.  You're a mid-tier program that overachieves.  You also play boring football and have a 72 year-old coach.  It doesn't really bother me at all.  I wouldn't give up what KU has in men's basketball for your little overachieving football program if someone put a gun to my head.  You guys just don't know what it's like to win national titles and go to Final Fours.  You are... K-State.

LOL.  You guys are the poorest school in the Big 12, and the only one that doesn't have one of these:

Meanwhile, LHC Bill Snyder just signed another 85th ranked recruiting class.

FY 2011:

K-State Athletics: $20 plus million in the Black.

ku:  barely breaking even.

K-State projecting significant net profitability as far as the eye can see, ku's athletic director "Hoping" (Direct quote while on BITB) to break even.

Endowment
See also: List of U.S. colleges and universities by endowment

    Texas (System-wide) - $14,052 million
    Texas A&M (System-wide) - $5,738 million
    Kansas (System-wide) - $1,055 million
    TCU - $1,048 million
    Missouri (System-wide) - $975 million
    Oklahoma - $968 million
    Baylor - $872 million
    Texas Tech (System-wide) - $775 million
    Iowa State - $509 million
    Oklahoma State - $495 million
    West Virginia (System-wide) - $337 million
    Kansas State - $278 million

Figures above are as of 2010.

And KU just had its worse year in football in a decade, and still came out with more total athletic revenue than K-State.  Our deals with adidas, ING, ESPN, etc. put us way ahead of you guys.  When football revenue is up, KU ranks near the top 10 in the country in total athletic budgets.

You can thank the defense mechanism that desperately needed to bring football into a discussion on a basketball board.  A defense mechanism that argues from the subconscious depths of its butthurt soul that basketball "doesn't matter."

This pisses  me off too.  Why are we not reinvesting our profits while kU is smartly putting their revenue to work?

Total Direct Instutional Support and Student Fees going to athletics:

ku:  $3.436 million

K-State:  $2.222 million

If it weren't for the compulsary student fees and direct insitutional support, ku athletics would have finished FY 2011 in the RED
