Is that like Tuna Nuna*?

*Is "tuna nuna" even a real thing?  Or was it just something my mom and childhood babysitter (who were close friends) called tuna casserole?

Not sure, but that's what I called it. Thinking back on it, I convinced myself that my mom was saying "Tuna Noodle" and I just couldn't pronounce it right. But now that you've posted this, it must have been a mom thing.

after intensive research (i.e. me comparing tuna casserole recipes with googled 'tuna nuna' recipes) i've come to the conclusion they're most likely the same thing. i'm assuming at some monumental moment in history, someone mispronounced tuna noodle as 'tuna nuna' and that's how the whole fad got going. did your mom add veggies and cheese to yours though? my tuna casserole is pretty purist.

We definitely had "tuna noodle casserole" growing up. Pretty sure the main ingredients were tuna, noodles, Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, and bread crumbs corn flakes. It was great. I still love tuna dishes to this day.

Bought my books today.  Little steeper than I expected.

 :sdeek:

"Buy all of your books from amazon.com and use your .edu address to sign up for Prime to get free 2-day shipping. Prime is free for the first six months and can be cancelled at no cost." - advice that bubbles neglected to give prior to this post

Also, if you don't need to keep your books at the end of the semester, you should be able to sell them back at roughly the same price you spent and end up only out about 10%. Been doing this for years and pocketing Aggievilleing scholarship money designated for books.

Denied. It's a low calorie, high protein, tasty, power food.

Sounds like this board had some of the most white bread lower middle class parents I've ever heard of.  I bet your moms fed you chef boyar dee, hamburger helper and Kraft Mac n cheese.  Oh well, not everyone was lucky enough to have parents who can do more than boil water and slop some leftovers into a casserole dish.

For the record, we had velveta mac & cheese and it is a million times better than kraft.

I guess your parents were to busy cooking you another 7 course meal to teach you that if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

I guess your parents were to busy cooking you another 7 course mean to teach you that if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

i would love this post even if its target wasn't the board's biggest a-hole.

I legitimately can't stop farting. My chair is totally saturated and it's spilling over. Thank god this is my friday so it has time to neutralize before I sit on it again.

Heading down for a wedding in wichita in a couple of hours, I think I'm going to John Currie it up to try and fit in.

Bolo tie? Check
Snake skin boots? Check
Western Style Jacket? Check

Question for Vaughn Scribner(Since we know he is reading).

Does the bolo tie need to match the belt buckle or can they be seperate but nuetral colors?
