Currently on a bus with an Australian tourist family. The kids have party guy sunglasses. My good they are adorable. Imagine the Australian party kid say, "What's an ihop? Sounds like crap."

I had a wonderful little afternoon.  Hung out with my son, he slept while I got pissed at The Killing.  Then I played some Dawnguard, then daris came by and we went to Brave.  Pretty solid afternoon.

the next time i take kk to a disney movie i'll now know to invite yla. i really did enjoy it. before i saw it i was told that there were pretty strong pro gay/lesbian marriage undertones/themes. that's probably somewhat true. although it wasn't addressed exactly like that, it'd be hard to totally disagree with that interpretation. also i'm currently on a hot streak of liking the last seven movies i've seen or something. i'm either very good at picking movies or like pretty much everything. probably a bit of both.

Also thinking of fun junk to do in Chicago on the goEMAW company retreat. It cost $17.50 to go up to the Hancock Observatory. That is $17.50 to use their elevator. Seems reasonable.

I heard from somewhere that you can just go to the bar 1 level above and buy a drink. If I was a drinker I might do that but sadly alcoholism runs deep in my family(Great uncle drank 3 beers a day for 60 years).

$17.50 seems reasonable enough though.

Cleaned my disgusting room today because it was so gross and I felt dirty just sleeping in there.  I love MHK and my house and my roommates, but i will NOT miss the room in which i sleep.

I'm pooped from moving the last few days.  But I am also happy.  New digs, new scenery, and new neighbors.  Looking forward to digging into this casserole Neighbor East brought over!
