Adding TaTownBacker to the list. Since Jayhox has been renovating, he has filled in nicely. The guy is everything KU fans strive to be. Trust funds, non stop chicks, gifted, super high bench max, Fairway home, etc. Love him.

So Bill said it's a KU and KSU town and KK backed him up with stats.  Something like 80,000 KU Alumni, 30,000 KSU alumni and 20,000 MU alumni in the Johnson, Wyco, Jackson, Cass and Clay county region.

I rarely see KSU folks in KC.  I lived in Brookside for a while and now I livee in Fairway.

Fairway- Fairway is like KU Utopia.  There are actually 2 KSU folks on my street.  One is a redneck and the other a recluse who drives a Prius.  There is one MU guy I know that lives on the street behind me.  He wears Affliction Shirts.  Other than that almost everyone is very pro KU. 90/7/3 KU/KSU/MUsplit in my unofficial poll.

Brookside- Brookside was still very pro KU.  65/35 KU/MU in my unofficial poll.

I'm not buying that KSU grads out number MU grads in the 5 county metro.

I'll give it to you- KU has WAY more non grad fans than KSU. In fact, I've never met a non grad KSU fan. KU by the nature of it's immense success is going to attract random fans. It's cool to be a KU fan. It's simply a miserable lot to be a KSU fan. No one would ever pick to be a fan of KSU unless they were unfortunate (stupid?) Enough to attend school there.

KU is like the Yankees, Lakers and Steelers.

KSU is like the Blue Jays, Trailblazers and Jags.

I won't give his name unless you want me to but he is an attorney for his daddy's media acquisition firm based out of KC, his family is from Wichita, pretty sure his mommy or some crap still lives here.  I know his daddy's business quite well but another GoEMAWer who is tall & loves poker and pipes tipped me off of the son who spends all of his time on daddy's dime message boarding.

Alright gentlemen I need some honest answers here.

I am 26 years old and I start my first full time job as an attorney this summer (I graduate in May) at a large Kansas City Law firm. I worked at this firm last summer as a law clerk but I mostly drove my GF's accord to work because I didn't want the older lawyers to think I was a punk. Only 1 or 2 guys noticed my Lade which had 24's and they at first made fun of it until I told them it was mine. I chalk this up to jealousy but whatever. Anyways my Dad offered to but me a new ride for graduation and I want a new Lade when they come out, but don't want to seem like a *****. Here are my options:

1) Get the 07 Lade, put my 24's on it.

2) Get the 07, get some 20's

3) Get the 07, keep it stock

4) Get a Yukon or Tahoe

What should I do?
