another thing I'm going to do is take the little amenity kit bags you get when you fly first or biz and put the really good stuff in them and set them out with towels for the guests. WOW!

My wife does this too. she's always hitting the maids up for extras if it's the good stuff like L'Occitane. The shower caps are great for covering pies!

Yes. I have most of my ticket stubs since high school. Nothing pisses me off more than events without hard tickets.

I don't collect stupid ticket stubs but I do still have the stub from the first movie Mrs. Bf and I went to on our first date. Anyone want to try and guess what move that was? It was 13 years ago.

You know what else would be a good idea? Taking an empty full size shampoo container and dumping 100 misc. hotel ones into and seeing how awful or awesome the resulting mess was. Probably super gross.

right now I have a plastic bin and two plastic zipper things that sheets come in (?) filled with them under the sink of the guest bathroom. this same guest bath also has a shower that nobody has ever showered in and a toilet that nobody but maybe construction workers have ever crap in available for first use. WOW. line forms in this thread for the house guest that wants first dibs on these experiences and toiletries. again, WOW.
