I really have no problem with this. Hopefully JO comes back focused and starts playing his best basketball at the end of the season.

fanning, if you don't want dirty your name, just PM it to Trim. He wouldn't mind dirtying your name.

I don't need additional PMs to continue dirtying fanning's name in an effort to gain a small measure of revenge for what he's done to goEMAW's name.

Also, doesn't take a big time ITK'r to figure out that JO once again caught wind of Wyatt's "jokes" and has been discombobulated since.

*Quick glance to MIR to make sure its "cool"*

Frank might be a huge hyporcrite.  If he suspends Jo because he yells negative things at everybody, isn't he just doing what Frank does?  You know they say the team takes on the personality of the coach......

Meh.

_FAN, this is the last straw, we're going to throw hands over this.  Meh? It's JO, JO!  You better hit the heavy bag, I'm ready to get bloody knuckles over this.

I like JO. I like Frank. I'm fine with Frank doing his thing in this situation. I hope JO figures it out.

First of all, he didn't suspend him for that, stupid theory.  Secondly, if he did that doesn't make him a hypocrite.  Frank is the dad, he is the boss.  Do you have a father, do you have children, do you have a job?  Do you ascribe to the FP theory that parents and kids are equals, or that stupid upside down triangle theory of hierarchy?  The boss gets to behave in ways that others can't, hence being the boss.

Hey this could be a good thing. If JO gets the perma boot we could get him to play for the Wichita pak'rs goEMAW YMCA team. :goochalleyooptoDOB:  :bball:

Maybe JO's brand of vocal leadership is hard to recognize?  Maybe yelling at teammates and calling for more oops and less being a pussy isn't appreciated in the morale building manner it may be intended?

Maybe....

Maybe Rod plays the way he has because he is trying to spare the rest of the team from JO's verbal leadership.  Maybe he thinks that if he can just do this, JO would simmer down?

Maybe we are seeing the latest coach spin off from the Shakey/Frank tree.

Maybe he follows Wally on Twitter and thinks that Wally sounds pretty happy now.

Oh, forgot to add how I love when these things happen and it brings out the tucks talking about how LHC Bill Snyder or Bill Self treat their players so much better.

It really reminds you about the power of PR, spin and public image.

Lol, did they already forget how OB ran off a running back who was at one time the top recruit in his class already?  The Massa has had a few pretty high profile recruits transfer as well (Micah Downs, David Padgett, Alex Galindo, C.J. Giles, etc.).  Those were kids that "just didn't fit with KU" or "wanted to be closer to home." Image really is everything, OB is the harmless gentle old guy and Frank is the meanie who yells at kids.

This seems somewhat complimentary of Frank, you okay?

Overall I like Frank a lot . . . sometimes I think he's too over the top, I wish he would recruit better, I don't like how his teams are a complete offensive mess at times-but that's the way he likes it apparently, and it is kind of straight out of the Huggins system, a train wreck that pounds the glass.   I really hate the "everybody run to the ball" defense which at times trades two's for threes or a simple layup for an oppossing crowd loving dunk.   But that said, I'll take what Frank is doing, over what we had prior to Frank/Hugs all day every day.

I think the bigger questions we need to be asking are?

-Will there by any pictures of Jo exiting the Riley County Courthouse?

-Were any airsoft rifles and women walking on campus involved?

-Are there concerns about support payments to minor children?

-Does this involve a time after midnight, a car "purchased" from a former player and underaged women?
