I don't think this is a Frank thing. Frank's comment that it is "irrelevant" is stupid and unfortunate. But, when our players have been suspended in the past it has always been for something non-frank related. Curtis, Jake, Jamar...all non-frank stuff. I don't think Frank has ever suspended a player for anything he didn't have to.

If its NCAA related we'll know, if its weed (seriously doubt it) we'll figure it out. I believe Frank suspended Jamar in the summer/fall before the 10-11 season. If there isn't precedent for Frank himself to suspend a player like you said, there is always a first time for everything. I suspect that Frank did suspend JO based on comments about practice the last couple of weeks and his sub patterns, JO has essentially been benched the last two games mid-game.

Frank is really testing my resolve. I feel like he is BIOQing the Frankites.

it certainly is a frank thing. other coaches don't give two shits and certainly don't suspend unless forced to.

Does this really happen every year? Yeah, it happened last year, but that was completely different. I don't recall anything like this in 09-10 or 08-09. Andre Gilbert was suspended in 07-08, but he sucked major balls.
