Nothing going on out there that 2 slow 6-10 plus guys can't fix.

Dax running a 4.3 forty to complete irrelevancy, literally posted this 3 dozen times since conference play started and hasn't gotten a single bite.  Poor bastard.

we've only sucked at the beginning of the conf year twice - in 08/09 when we started 0-4 and last year when we started 1-4.

and if that was true, after 5 goddamn years, you'd think a coach could build something that wouldn't leave its fanbase exepcting his team to piss itself at the begining of the conference.

but hey, it's just november, nothing to worry about.

I have a difficult time disagreeing with this. I mean Frank talks all the time about being demanding and expecting his kids to improve. Doesn't seem like too much to expect a coach to do the same.

Keep in mind, I'm still full Frankite and a lot of this is disappointment in two frustrating losses. I got caught up in expectations after destroying Missouri. I still don't think it's unreasonable to expect Frank to show some progression with some of this stuff in year 5.

You don't think Frank has improved and/or progressed as a coach in any way? Really? Come. On.

You say you're a Frankite, but nothing you post other than "I'm a Frankite" would suggest it.

seems like frank wins a similar amount of conf games (w/in a game) regardless of his talent or the rest of the league's talent.

Stop acting like the rest of these simps and taking a small snapshot and trying to make more of it.  Last years 1-4 was irrelevant because of what happened later in the season.  Let's make determinations of what Frank is in March.  I could give two shits how good of a coach he is in January if we're in the tournament every 4 out of 5 years.

I enjoy the drama. Much bbetter than being indestructable. Peaks and valleys. The lows are what make the highs as truly fantastic as ours have been.

Consistence is for a less feeling fanbase.  We need this.

the run of wins last year, from the cu road game on, was incredible.  i don't think it is valid to expect that sort of thing though.

Fair enough, but I'd also say stop acting like its not okay for fans to get frustrated at losing games like the ones we've lost the past 4 days.

And it's not a small snap shot to me when it's happened 3 of 5 years. My big picture view says there is no guarantee we recover and finish like we did the first two times. I'm not just going to assume it will happen a 3rd time. We'll see.

What a stupid post. We've been consistent for the past five years. Consistent peaks and valleys. Being indestructable would be a nice change of pace.

Exactly. Sometime losing games you "should" win catches up with you. It did all the time for over a decade before Huggs and Frank.

This season is better because of the schedule. Compare early losses this year to the others. I mean last year we got dominated by cu at home and this year we list at home to a top 5 team. and last year we had Pullen.

No we should be pissed about today, it was inexcusable on many fronts, Frank included but it really shouldn't go beyond that.  If we beat TT at home today and lost to OU in a few weeks to go 5-4 in the conference no one would be talking about how Frank has grown as a coach in January.

This.  I understand the basis for people's belief that it will all get better, I just don't believe in it.  At all.  Or rather, I don't see it as some foregone conclusion.

Yes but this reaction says to me that you either think that we will win every game or the season ends on January 25th.  I said that we would finish 5-3 in the 8 game stretch after Baylor, so aside from the frustration of how we lost I'm not going to meltdown until its apparent we aren't making the tournament.
