Just got a special screw driver to take apart NES games and bottle of Brasso. Games are now all starting on the first try.

My nine year-old showed me a Super Mario Maker thing where someone recreated Super Mario Bros 1-1 that was the same as the original except played from right to left. A mirror image. You don't realize how hard wired your brain is to see Mario levels move from left to right. But playing this thing was totally mumped up like looking at an unbelievable optical illusion or something.

About 20 hours of Golfing it is very fun! If you liked the old Tiger games before they got really arcadey then you will love how this new one feels.

Just started playing the newly released Crusader Kings 3. I'm just playing the tutorial mode, but I can tell if I like it yet or not. It's very complicated, and the areas in which it's extra-complicated are things I don't really care about (e.g. relationships between NPC's and their behavior traits, etc.).

Anyone else have this game or play prior versions? Does it get better?

I've played Crusader Kings 2. It was overwhelming at first, but once you figure it out, it's really not that bad. It needs to be as complicated as it is to pull off what it attempts to do, really.

I just learned that Nintendo released the arcade version of Donkey Kong for the first time in 2018 and have been playing for the past hour. So awesome. The "how high can you get" music is my favorite thing ever.
