So I looked at these lists to see where Gettys fits.  I'll give him the benefit of the doubt over most of the CBS guys, we don't hear them very much so their level of annoyingness isn't nearly as high.  It should be said though the CBS guys for the most part are really good.  Because they only have good games and don't do a lot, there isn't a bunch of wasted bullshit and stupid catch phrases.

The ESPN guys even close to annoying as Gettys, in order of shittiness, are Jimmy Dykes (simply the worst), Bob Knight, Hubert Davis, and Bob Valvano because he's amazingly boring.

i nearly lost it last night when gettys had some outburst about jamar throwing his elbows on offense.  i mean, i was really upset and i let out a profanity laced rant toward my television set.  i will never forgive reid for that, never.  so nobody even think about asking me to reconsider, because i won't.  you'd be wasting your time.
