having any child within earshot is unbearable and unacceptable, no matter the age

i really worry about the ability of most of you guys on here in terms of being able to function successfully in society when your skin is so thin that this type of stuff sets you off.  i mean really it's like everybody here is a thirteen year old girl in terms of things that bother them. but not a normal thirteen year old girl, one that is like way more sensitive than the other 13 year old girls and complains about stuff that would not even faze a normal 13 year old girl.

it's like this place is one long ride in a car with kids in the back seat complaining that one is touching the other and that the other one keeps making weird faces.
Just FYI, but the poster formerly known as BTK has not been way more sensitive than the other 13 year old girls and doesn't complain about stuff that would not even faze a normal 13 year old girl.
Surely that needs to be pointed out?

no, i will. i think i'll give them more than three months to get used to not being in their mother's womb.

lol. your responses are getting even dumber if possible.

"hey etp, you going to feed your newborn?"
"nope. going to give him a while to get used to not being in their mother's womb before i try anything that adventerous."

who the eff takes a 3 month old to a midnight showing of Batman?

what should they have done? left the 3 month old at home? it's three months old dude. it was probably just going to sleep through the whole thing in a car seat. who cares.

Had some self control and not gone to the movie? Waited until later this weekend when a babysitter could be arranged? Realized that if you want to keep going out on Thursdays at midnight you should refrain from reproducing?

i still can't figure out what the issue is. is it that they took the three month old to a movie or that they took it to a midnight movie, because from your response i can't tell. lol if it's the second.

Both. Taking a baby to a movie is white trash behavior that even the biggest WVU fan would have to think twice about.

what about a restaurant? what about church? what about a grocery store?

wow, that is the dumbest thing you've said of all the dumb things you've said in this thread.

it sounds like if you have kids that they will be raised by a babysitter.  yikes.  t&p's, abefroman jr.

in all fairness they might be better off that way. an adventerous babysitter sounds like the only way that etp jr will ever get to even leave the house.

kinda brings this conversation full circle, because a lot of the over-protected, over-sheltered kids are the ones that shoot up movie theaters.

I don't mind people who take babies or kids to the movies, but the people who let their kids scream, run around and kick the back of the seat in front of them need to get punched in the face. I try to avoid movies that are going to have a ton of kids in attendance to avoid that crap, but there is always somebody who brings their kids to a movie like Cabin in the Woods, which just baffles me in the first place, but whatever, if the kids aren't screaming, I'm not caring.

I don't have a kid, but my brother is going to in the next few weeks, and I can't rough ridin' wait to be babysitting her one night this winter and decide, "you know what? I really want to go see Django Unchained, tonight.  Do you want to go 8mpNiece?  Okay great, let's go."

She is going to get pissed off and start fussing when she finds out you didn't say "Rango Unchained". I just hope you can keep your niece under control.
