This staff has appeared to be very conditional offer happy. I believe it is the right strategy. Nigel appears to be closer to 2 guards that a combo. ARate in conference play is down to 16.6%.

Staff bring in Cobb for visit provides two signs. He must of done well academically last semester and he is will take the first open scholarship.

I do believe the staff wants a back up point guard. Next year will should have better scoring/shooting options.

I think they plan on running two players.

Someone discussed how much it appears he doesn't like playing Bolden, so I assume he'll go.  Then we're probably running a point guard.
I hope they run Edwards. Absolutely hate his mentality.

1) Jevon (JR) MysPG (FR)
2) Marcus (JR) Barry (FR)
3) Wes (JR) Wade (FR)
4) Malek (So) Hurt (SR)
5) DJamer (Jr) Cobb (FR) Dante (FR)

I would assume Edwards, Trey and Nigel are the run off options. + if someone leaves us

running off players that have used a rs year is unethical.

oscar doesn't strike me as always having the players' best interest at heart.

Wait, you have Wade as a wing?  Is this the consensus?

I thought he was being recruited as more of a stretch 4?

Are you suggesting that Claws might struggle guarding Big 12 wings?  Preposterous.  M-N get over here and spit some hoops terminology at this fool.

He is hard to project. I Would hope we could get him and Malek on the court at the same time. Malek could be a defensive 3 and Wade an offensive 3.

Dean is now 6'9 1/4. 225lbs.  Would create an ideal Stretch 4 with his range, without giving up much, if any height.

That's pretty big for a 4 these days.

So, we apparently have ships out to 3 different PG's for the '15 class?

Hardinet
Stokes
Thomas--JC from Cloud, maybe does not have an offer but oscar was watching him last night?

I like the idea of one of the current PG's and Bolden leaving.  But I have also heard that the frosh big (Williams?) and Cobb are both projects.  That surely will help us out next year.........

Awaiting the inevitable KITN

Cobb is going to be able to bang next year. I think he will come in a little better than DJamer did his freshmen year. Dante is a high ceiling guy that needs to but work in the weight room.

Dante upgraded to a four star on one of his espn recruiting profiles. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/169712/dante-hales

Yes, he has two profiles.

Can we expect The Flush to move up the rankings since everyone is calling him a steal or w/e ?

Can we expect The Flush to move up the rankings since everyone is calling him a steal or w/e ?

The state of Florida's scouting seems to all ways be poor. Angel was an unranked 3 star, never understood that.

Karwin Roach is ranked 34th by Espn. He was scheduled for an official at K-State earlier in the year (Was not as highly rated at that time). A couple days before Karwin's visit Berry committed to K-State and the coaches canceled Karwin's visit. I believe Barry was higher on K-States board than Roach. For the following reasons, Barry was the firsts recruit in fall of 2014 to setup a visit and was setup on the biggest weekend of the year (Auburn). He was always a priority, second K-State could have pushed Barry's commitment back and ask him to be sure and see the campus first.

I tend to agree with the staff that Barry is a better player. I believe he has a better handle than Karwin. But mostly are very comparable players. I am not saying Barry is a top 30 recruit, I haven't watched enough tape to make that kind of statement. I also think comparing players of different positions is worthless and difficult. But I do believe Barry and Karwin are very comparable. The truth probably lies in the middle Karwin is overrated a tad and Barry is underrated. Here is some film.

Karwin Roach

The Flush

- Lastest video, believe his athleticism has improved since the summer.

Barry played AAU ball with Antonio Blakeney (Ranked 13 in 2015 class) and I think that covered up Barry a bit.

who is the lead recruiter for Barry?  I would assume Chet as he is the East Coast guy.

Chet, but Chester is more than the east coast, strong in Cali too. Alvin also is strong in Florida.

4-star PG, #78 composite.  The breads picked up four 247 CBs in the last two days, including one from Meyer and another from the Wisconsin Badgers itk guy.
