JucoRecruiting: Kansas State was in last night to watch Devon Thomas (6'0/PG/2015) from Cloud County CC. http://t.co/lFrT7xmVib

Just classic spring recruiting. Just typical garbage, waiting for someone to blow up.

I'll be honest. I'll just take any PG right now that can adequately handle the ball and pass it to guys on our team.

The bar isn't set real high is what I'm saying.

We were better with Will Spradling for fsake.

FYI this offense actually rates out better than last years as of now.  So...  :dunno:

@coreyevans_10
Jahshire Hardnett has my vote as best available lead guard. Lefty moves the ball and changes gears up with the best of them

"Lefty"  :love:

@coreyevans_10 Jahshire Hardnett showing off a polished push shot from 10 feet. Effective floor general who can distribute

Corey Evans ?@coreyevans_10
Learned a few things this evening at the Cancer Research Classic. 1: Jahshire Hardnett is arguably best available pg in 15. Tough/productive

Updates:

The Flush 6-3 Combo guard out of St. Petersburg, FL

The Flush has been absolutely killing it is in senior year, has shown improved bounce this year and is looking like an elite athlete.

Points Per Game: 23.3         2FG%: 69%
Assists Per Game: 2.2         3FG%: 48%
Rebounds Per Game: 4.6     FT%: 73%
Steals Per Game: 2.8

Barry is a true combo guard and has shown the ability to score at all three levels. His eFG% is off the charts and should give us some excitement. He is also very good in ball screen situations something that is missing from our current team. He is my favorite recruit in the oscar Weber era.

Claws 6-8 Combo Forward out of St. John, KS

Points Per Game: 20.8         2FG%: 72%
Assists Per Game: 2.6          3FG%: 50% (9-18) is 45% in HS Career
Rebounds Per Game: 8.5      FT%: 73%
Steals Per Game: 2.8
Blocks Per Game: 3.5

Dean is a very skilled combo forward and is a proficient shooter, has shown ability to be a straight line driver off his left and right hand. Offensively the game comes easy to him. The questions is for Wade is how he will handle the physicality at the next level (A question that should be asked about 98% of all big men). Earlier this summer the word was the Wade held his own against Stephen Zimmerman a selected Burger boy.

xWhomper 7-0 Center out of Arlington, Texas

Points Per Game: 10.8
Assists Per Game: 0.2
Rebounds Per Game: 6.8
Steals Per Game: 0.5
Blocks Per Game: 3.7

Dante is born to be a shot blocker, he is a tall and lengthy kid that appears to have a frame that could add a ton of good weight. He moves well for his size. He has a chance to be a hell of an enforcer. He has shown marginal hands and ball skills. He is a wait and see type of kid. He is a highlight that shows some raw ability. Wish he had a better motor. Wouldn't project him to be more than a role player.
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3442823/highlights/227590412

Eric Cobb 6-9 Forward-Center out of Baltimore, MD

Points Per Game: 6.9         2FG%: 55%
Assists Per Game: 0.4        3FG%: N/A
Rebounds Per Game: 7.8    FT%: 28%
Steals Per Game: 0.2
Blocks Per Game: 0.4

Eric Cobb is a load of a man, I really hope he qualifies. Every team needs an enforcer, Eric can really bang a natural back to the basket player that gets after it on the boards. He moves very well for his size and has ton of soft weight to cut. Has great hands and has shown signs of a promising face up jumper.  He has a high ceiling, can become a go-to guy on the block.

So we're Brucing at least two kids, possibly 3 if we get a JUCO PG and Cobb qualifies.

Brucing one or two. I think the next open scholarship is Cobb's to lose. Hardnett and Thomas is mostly likely an either or option but dependent on a force-out or transfer.

DJamer???

I believe we have always had a issues with getting big that can be developed to an elite level. Hard to find great project bigs. This is why Frank landing Upshaw was such a big deal, was huge recruiting win. We will see what Alvin and Chester can bring in the next couple of years.

BTW Cobb is a 4 Star on ESPN. So that is a good sign. Dante worries me, I would put him in the JO boat.

6.9 PPG

Meh, Plays for a loaded Prep school that is guard play heavy. A ton of really good high school bigs don't put up good numbers.

More like "The Bolden Boat". Cobb's size alone basically guarantees some degree of contribution next season, and based on how thin we are at the 5 he might be the most important piece of this recruiting class. If there's a year for him to sneak in 2015 is it, the standards to qualify are only getting steeper in 2016.

Do you have any legitimate info on DJamer not making it back in time or are you just speculating
