This team? No.

This team post our BIOQ game? Possibly. I'd even go as far as to say "probably".

Is this team getting to .500 in conference?

Yeah.  Pretty much what thought watching KSU v WVU.  This is two bubble/ NCAA 7-10 seeds battling it out on a neutral court.  They split 10 games 5-5 every time.  KSU is most def. a .500 team inB12 give or take a win either way.

EDIT:  Sorry, KSU at IBA isn't neutral. Still a middling B!@ team is exactly what we are.  We aren't going to be great and we aren't going to suck either.  Just enjoy the ride fellas.  If the staff can add a few valuable pieces in the next year or two we should be pretty good.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Also, posted that before I saw the results of the KSU NOFLO game.  Doesn't change my opinion.

Meh. The Cats will probably win 2 of those 4 games. And probably lose a couple they shouldn't.

I'm willing to be patient with this team. It is year 5, but with losing Pullen its clearly an evolving year for the program comparable to 08-09. This year's league is probably worse than that one as well (6 NCAA bids, 8 teams were .500 in the league or better).

I think we'll be on the bubble. I'd put Frank losing all 4 of those games at less than 5%.

I'd guess we'll win 3 conference road games. We handled VT and there are several teams that are not better (and probably worse) than the Hokies.

This year is bubble city, the two years following is when we make our run, sprads, angel, gip, southwell, diaz, incoming big dudes, and emape leading the way. :cheese:

I set the over/under at 10.5 wins.  In the bubble discussion on Sunday, but makes the tournament with a 9-10 seed.

OU, Tech for sure. OSU looks pretty bad, but G-Iba is still more of a factor than whatever VaTech had (5K, maybe?). ISU is still an enigma to me. They should be better than this, right?

How is A&M looking so far?

63.1 possessions per game. Not quite Wisconsin numbers, but they are definitely trying for the slowest 40 minutes in Big 12 basketball. Of course they just got Middleton back, so that could change things.

I can see .500 based almost exclusively on the fact that overall, the Big 12 is a slightly above average major conference at best.

I am hoping that going to 18 conf games will help when on the bubble. I mean, a 11-7 team is not really any better than a 10-6 team in the past but it seems like 11-7 Big 10 and Pac 10 teams always made the tourney

KU, MU, UT, A&M and Baylor are better than us.  The Big 12 is not getting 60% of its teams into the tourney.  NIT #3 seed.  8-10 in conf.

I think only KU and MU are close to proven commodities.  Baylor has undeniable talent but UT is way down and A&M is going to really miss Turgeon.

All we need is Rodney to play like one the top 15 players in this league (which I believe he truly is) and we will could split with everybody on this list but UT (who we sweep due to CTR)
