Not butthurt. Did ku win the orange bowl? yes. was it a good season? yes. does their season of relevance make them a better program than KSU like they claim? No.

Awesome.  Watching Moo play the CCG is "winning the division".

Stomped?  KU had the ball with under a minute to go, down by a touchdown.

All time Cotton Bowls/Orange/Fiesta/Rose/Sugar
KSU: 4 (2-2)
KU:3 (1-2)
and thats not even counting the 3 or 4 times we've been screwed, and counting the one time KU's AD obviously sucked the Orange Bowl committee drier than a Kansas field to get in.

my mistake. I remember the final score as 39-28 though right? And being down by 7 to the #1 team in the nation is KU's 2nd greatest accomplishmenet ever.

What difference does it make?

The quality of programs is fluid.  They were a better program then. Then they got passed by us.  Someday, they'll pass us again.  Then we'll pass them.

And so on.

When will you guys give this up?  KU and Mizzou tied for the division.  Mizzou won the tiebreaker.

The final score was 36-28.  Maybe sit the next couple of plays out and regroup.

I guess thats what he's trying to say.  Doesn't seem that great though.  2 wins over ranked teams in like 5 years?  If I'm being honest, I'm not all that impressed by that.

Dax:  Out of curiousity- do you generally go the catch and release route?  If so-  How many pics of Ben do you have hanging over your mantle?  Do you hold a tape measure next to him or just let people get a feeling for size by holding him up next to you?  TIA.

No.

I'm not saying it is really bad or anything either.

Let me ask this, are the expectations what CW equal or exceed this?

He has certainly made it clear that the 5th row stat will be his Super Bowl, at least for now.  He hasn't discussed much of his other goals.  Although, I'd be seriously surprised if he knew exactly  what he was working with yet.  It seemed the job offer kind of caught him out of the blue.

When I evaluate K-State's success in football, I use a measuring stick in parity with K-State's success, like Texas, not some neverwas premature ejaculator like ku.  Measuring K-State's success in football by comparing it to ku, is like an umpire using a micrometer to walk off 60' 6"

KU has never, ever, been relevant in football.  Even when they thought they were, they were not.  KU fans should cozy up to old newspaper stories about Gayle Sayers, because that's all they have. GMAFB.

Meanwhile, K-State has 6 BCS top 10 finishes 13 years of BCS bullshit.

Listening to KU and KSU fans bicker about which football team is more relevant is like listening to two whores argue about which one of them will gain the respect of a man first.
